There is no minimum age bar for admission to Under-Graduate courses and Post-Graduate courses in the University and its colleges.
Selection in various courses offered by the college will be done on the basis of marks secured in the class XII Examination of the CBSE or an equivalent Board. The applicant should take into account both theory and practical (where relevant) marks while submitting their aggregate percentage. The minimum eligibility conditions for admission to the respective courses are:
A. General Category
B.Sc. (H) Biomedical Science
Minimum Eligibility Criteria
55 % aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology (PCB/Bt) subjects, with preference to Mathematics in the Senior Secondary Exam (12th class).
Additional Eligibility Criteria set by the college
• At least 70% marks in Chemistry.
• Students having PCB/Bt with Mathematics (at least 60%) will be given an advantage of 3% over and above their PCB/Bt aggregate

• An aggregate of at least 55% marks in four subjects including Mathematics, one language (English) and two other subjects listed as academic subjects by the respective boards.
• At least 60% marks in Mathematics.
Admission would be based on the aggregate of marks scored in best three academic subjects including Mathematics (not more than one language to be considered).
Students who have studied Physics and Chemistry will be given an additional 5 % weight age.

• At least 73% marks in Mathematics.
• An aggregate of at least 55% marks in four subjects including Mathematics, one language (English) and two other subjects listed as academic subjects by the respective boards.

The college reserves the right to declare different cut-off marks for each combination.
The additional eligibility criteria for various courses have been introduced to ensure that the student has a good knowledge and understanding of the subject which forms the foundation of the respective course.
B. Admission of Other Backward Classes (OBC) students
The policy reservation for the OBCs under the Central Education Institution Act has been implemented from the academic session 2008-09. Twenty seven % seats in each course will be reserved for the OBC (non-creamy layer as per the Central List) as per the decision of University of Delhi. The non-creamy layer is identified by the Gross Annual Income below Rs. 4.5 lakhs.

OBC candidates shall be given relaxation in the minimum eligibility in the qualifying examination to the extent of 10% of the minimum eligibility marks prescribed for the General category candidates.
C. SC/ST candidates will have to register between June 4, 2012 and June 18, 2012 from 9.30 am to 2.00 pm at four Centre’s (Arts Faculty (North Campus), South Campus, Rajdhani College and Shyam Lal College.PH candidates will be registered at office of Dean, Students Welfare from June 4, 2012 to June 18, 2012.
